Founded in Stockholm in 1996 by Jonny Johansson, Acne Studios (Ambition to Create Novel Expressions) was never meant to be a fashion label. The multidisciplinary collective, formed by a group of friends, combined design, advertising and graphic design activities until they launched their first collection in 1997.

Acne Studios is a pure, functional and quirky aesthetic inspired by Scandinavian culture. Collections of ready-to-wear, denim, shoes and accessories reflect a chic, sophisticated and relaxed spirit.
